Back again.

April is nearly here already and it has been months since I have written; gallivanting around does tend to inhibit getting things done on the home front.

We have enjoyed a nice winter this year with an average amount of snow and cold. Of course after last year this feel like a balmy winter. March is typically our snowiest month but this year we haven't had any to speak of. I noticed that our running average for water year to date has dropped below average while our snow pack is still above. An interesting anomaly. I assume that's telling us that the snow we received this winter was drier than normal, the light fluffy powder that skiers are so fond of. If you would like to see how our snow levels are progressing the address below will take you to the Brumley sontel site data. Click on daily graph under current water year and you can see how our snow has come in this year. The Brumley monitoring site is just up the pass from us.
